My obsession with Japan started because of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme in Okinawa. From 2013-2015, I travelled all around Japan and visited over 30 prefectures. I miss Japan so much after I returned to Singapore that I have been visiting Japan almost yearly (other than during the Covid years). There’s still so much to see and experience in Japan so I am determined to conquer all 47 prefectures one day and maybe retire in Okinawa!
